Clearly identify the purpose of your app. What problem does it solve?

The purpose of my app, ReadWell, is to allow someone to record their personal impressions of books they have read.

Who is the audience for your app?

The audience of my app is anyone who reads books for pleasure.

What is the beneficial effect of your app for that audience?

By allowing a user to record their impression of a book they have read – essentially, a private review of that book – ReadWell helps the user remember what books they liked or did not like. By looking back at reviews a user has authored regarding books they have read over potentially many years, a user can better remember what authors or genres of books they enjoyed, which will help them to find new books to read. A stretch goal of my app is that it might automatically make these recommendations for a user based on the reviews they have authored.
