Creating a prototype, getting feedback on areas for improvement, and then refining your work to create a new prototype is a powerful process for developing an effective end product.
To exceed expectations in this task, regardless of which culminating task product you choose to build, your work must meet all of the following criteria:
You will choose one of the following two tasks to complete.
In this course, you have learned to plan and code by generating graphical output, such as T-shirt designs, gig posters, and line art drawings.
Excellent evidence of mastery is the ability to transfer and apply familiar skills in a new context.
If you choose to focus on programming, your culminating task will be the creation of a tessellation of polygons.
These designs will then be made into a physical piece of art by using either a plotter or a laser cutter.
The following images are simply examples – you will design and implement one or more custom tessellations.
